Earlier this month, Fairfax City’s Economic Development Authority partnered with High Side and the newly established Old Town Fairfax Business Association to host the second installment of the Fairfax Beer Garden.
While it did rain, many people that still came out. The event featured breweries, cideries, and a winery all from Virginia. A food truck from Coyote Grille, dubbed “The Roaming Coyote” served up Tex-Mex food while High Side offered unique Asian street food. Bridging community activism and engagement, there were charity raffles throughout the day to benefit Britepaths, a dedicated leader in developing sustainable solutions that stabilize low-income working families.
Even with the rain, the beer garden was a success as it brought people together to have a little fun while appreciating the neighborhood.
