Economic Development seems to be all about partnerships lately. Earlier this year, the Office of Economic Development, the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, and the Economic Development Authority together, partnered to host a reimagined restaurant week for Fairfax City. Since then, we’ve begun expanding our partnerships across the City to help infuse energy, enthusiasm (and importantly, efficiency) into the economic development programming offered across the City.
This summer and early fall saw an economic development partnership with High Side and the newly established Old Town Fairfax Business Association to host the Fairfax Beer Garden. In November we will once again partner with American Express to help highlight the importance of small businesses within our City for Small Business Saturday. It is true that partnerships help us broaden the economic development experience. But significantly, partnerships help us increase the positive impact and return on investment which translates into a direct business community benefit throughout the city. To our partners, Thank You. If you’re interested in learning more about our partnership opportunities and programming, email economicdevelopment@fairfaxva.gov.
