Faces of Fairfax City: Mim's Food
Have you ever wanted to experience food that has elements of Chinese and Middle Eastern cuisine without a rigorous 20+ hours of travel time? Then, head over to Mim’s Food right here in Fairfax City!
Mim’s Food serves Uyghur cuisine from the Xinjiang region of China and consists of ingredients and cooking techniques unique to that region. Because the Xinjiang province was the link on the Silk Road, Uyghur cuisine is a melting pot of the cultures on that trade route. Mim’s Food offers delicious halah Uyghur kebabs and laghman (a famous specialty noodle dish) made to order, among many other street food offerings and complex dishes.
