Throw away your preconceived notions about tattoos, people with tattoos, and tattoo parlors! While many people picture ex-cons and leather-clad gruff bikers as the usual tattoo recipients, tattoos have had a long and significant role in many cultures from ancient times to the present. Still today, members of some indigenous communities continue the traditional practice of marking their bodies to indicate their positions or status within their communities.
And today, many people “ink” their bodies as a form of self-expression – to celebrate their individuality and the symbolisms that are important to them. At Dixer Tattoo, custom tattoos are an art form. As you look at the amazing variety of art on display in the bright and modern Dixer Tattoo studio, you can see the inspiration that Dixer gathered from his years of working and traveling all over the world.
If you’ve ever thought about a tattoo, or if you already have one or more and are looking to add another, check out Dixer Tattoo and speak to the loquacious Dixer or any of his friendly artists! They will inspire you and answer any questions you have.
