FAIRFAX CITY, VA – George Mason University’s School of Business and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) hosted the 2023 Patriot Pitch Competition, where Dr. Beth Young, Fairfax City Economic Development Authority Secretary and CEO of Quality Information Partners, was selected as a judge. Patriot Pitch is an annual competition to support idea and early-stage business ventures, hosting four rounds of finalists in different competition tracks including STEM, Public Engagement, Social Impact and General Entrepreneurship. The winning team in each track will be invited to pitch at George Mason University’s 2023 Accelerate Investor Conference, George Mason’s largest pitch competition, where cash prizes are available to winners, over 53 national investment firms present, and our business community is able to showcase the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region as a powerhouse for innovation and business opportunity.
