Fairfax City, VA – On September 26, 2023, the City Council appointed Patrick P. Soleymani, MBA, JD, as Commissioner-designee of the Economic Development Authority with a four-year term commencing on October 15, 2023. The City Council also reappointed Commissioners Dawn McGruder (Treasurer) and Kathleen Paley, Esq. (Vice Chair) each to an additional four-year term, effective immediately.
“I am extremely grateful to the Mayor and City Council for these appointments to the EDA,” said Christopher Bruno, Director of Economic Development and CEO of Fairfax City Economic Development. “Each one of these individuals will continue to help us grow our economic portfolio in real and meaningful ways while expanding our strategic partnerships and advancing the goals of our recently completed strategic work-plan.”
